Joint venture of Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association (HEPCA), the leading NGO focused on protecting the Red Sea reeflife and wrecks and GUE Egypt. Hurghada resident GUE divers have installed the new moorings on the first artificial reef-site in the Red Sea by using HEPCA's transport, logistics and know-how. Secondary goal of the project, beyond maintaining the mooring system, is surveying the coral growth and reef succession in new locations.
